iPad to get iPhone 4.0 this Fall
Today was the big announcement about the new features of iPhone OS 4.0. If you haven’t yet come up to speed on all the features, go catch up real quick over at ars technica’s iPhone 4.0 post.
Back? Good.
While I am excited about the multi-tasking, I don’t think this will revolutionize how I am currently using my iPad or iPhone. I am anticipating the email features more than anything else. I have 7 email accounts currently syncing on my iPad, and navigating that jungle of mail is tiresome. The new app folders option will be big for iPhone users, but not so sure about iPad users. Although I could see myself dumping all my non-iPad optimized apps into a folder to get them out of sight, but still have access to them. iAds has me intrigued as I look further into developing an iPad app.
Now to wait and see what other tidbits turn up as people begin tearing into the SDK.
P.S.
Is it me or is Steve Job’s and Apple spending more time on stage these days than a rock band?
